A Shoe Deal for HPC?

My business partner had a meeting with an international shoe company yesterday. It looks like somethings going to come of it. This company has a major international presence but is just starting to get in to the U.S. They want to use us for product testing

because they are getting in to a new market and would like to use my experience as a biomechanist and access to elite athletes as a way to create the best possible product. Right now they aren’t ready to rush a product out for commercial release and really want to do things right which is refreshing to know. I think this relationship will grow in to something very fruitful.

Downtime for My Host

Ok. My host went down again for ‘maintenance.’ The webhost that holds the 5 sites I’ve got going right now. The webhost that basically holds my sole stream of income right now. I wouldn’t care so much but it’s been a monthly weekly occurrence over the past 18 months. In fact, I had an outage of over 5 weeks last winter that took both ELITETRACK.com and HPCsport.com out of commission. I need to switch hosts, especially since my sites are now my primary source of marketing, income, and contact with clients. I’ve been hesitant to do it though because I’ve bought and paid for a lifetime package with my current host that allows me to host my sites as long as I want and never pay another dime. I only paid about $200 for it and I’ve used it for about 3 and a half years to host anywhere between 1 and 6 websites. Now though, I have to be a little more concerned about site outages than before since I can’t afford to miss a sale because my site was down.

Welcome to MeDirected

Hey. Glad you found the site. Welcome to my new home. I started this site to blog about my new life. If you aren’t aware, I was a collegiate coach for the past couple years trying to juggle that and my business startup venture. A month ago I resigned at the United States Miliatary Academy so that I could pursue my business full time and in the more immediate-sense, to finish up my doctoral dissertation which has been largely put on hold for the past 3 years. I’m gonna use this blog as a sounding board to vent some ideas and random thoughts and as a way friends and family can follow my new venture.
