      About Me
I'm Mike, the owner of an athletic development company called HPC. I recently quit my financially secure day job to 1) finish my PhD and 2) take my business full time. It's a risky venture and a major redirection (hence the blog name) in my life. I love food, hate sleep, and want to be my own boss. I have mild OCD and ADD but I will always post, so please come back if you are interested in following this venture and maybe picking up some random bits along the way.

Well, after much banging my head on a wall yesterday, I finally got all my sites migrated to the new webhost. That sound you hear is my sigh of relief. I’ve switched hosts 4 times now in the past 8 years but I’d never done it with a CMS as advanced as Expression Engine. The 2 sites I have on that CMS gave me some headaches but all is resolved now. I even added a twitter bird to this site that displays my twitter updates. Now back to business…writing a dissertation, increasing streams of passive income to keep my head above water and working with my current list of clients and athletes.

I had the same problem moving an expression engine site to media temple. It hurts my head just thinking about it.
